Baked Camembert with honey, hazelnuts and thyme

Baked Camembert is the perfect recipe for a lazy day. Ready to bake in less than 10 min and ready after 20 min. This recipe came out of a magazine and the honey works really well!

Serves: 5 persons (starter) or 2 persons (main).

Ingredients:
  • 1 Camembert cheese
  • honey
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • hazelnuts, bashed
  • thyme, leaves only

Method:
  1. Place the Camembert in a baking tray and gently prick the top with a fork. Use a Camember baker if you have one - I don't but I have a ovenproof pie dish which is exactly the right size!
  2. Add in the ingredients in the following order: honey, hazelnuts, thyme, olive oil, honey and salt.
  3. Place the cheese in the oven at 200°C until the top is golden, approximately 20 min.
  4. Serve with bread or cream crackers.
