Tuna salad

The variations of tuna salad are huge. It tends to have mayo, which mine doesn't. It tends to have more tuna and less vegetables than mine.
This is the tuna salad I grew up with. This is the tuna salad my mum did. 
It's healthy and I love it.

Serves: 4 persons.

Ingredients:
  • 400g back-eyes peas, cooked
  • 300g potatoes, cubed and cooked
  • 200g tomatoes, cubed (I used cherry tomatoes because that's what I had at home;  I sliced them in half)
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 160g canned tuna in oil
  • 2 boiled eggs, chopped
  • bunch of parsley, finely chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste

Method:
  • Add all the ingredients in a bowl. Also add the oil that comes with the tuna.


  • Add olive oil if needed.
  • Mix and it's ready.
