Passion fruit mousse

This recipe works with almost every fruit. Canned fruit makes it easy but fresh can be used as well. It's also healthier as it is made with yogurt instead of cream. It takes no time at all to make.

Pasion fruit cans are not easy to find in the UK. I buy them from the Portuguese supermarket.

We love this mousse!

Serves: 6 persons.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can passion fruit  (565g)
  • 1 can condensed milk (397g)
  • 250g natural yogurt
  • 4 gelatine leaves or 12g powdered gelatine
Method:
  1. Add the passion fruit, condensed milk and yogurt in a bowl and mix.



  2. Prepare the gelatine as instructed in the gelatine pack.
  3. Add the gelatine to the mixture. Mix well.
  4. Divide into individual dessert bowls. 

  5. Refrigerate for at least 4h.
  6. Serve cold.
